Terms and Conditions
Orders are dispatched within 48 hours (midweek) if the product is in stock. Orders made at weekends or public holidays will be processed the following working day. If an item is out of stock at the time of order Gnomes will contact the customer offering the following solutions:
>Place on back order and ship products at a later date
>Contact customer when item arrives back in stock
>If no alternative item can be found the order will be cancelled.
>The legal contract starts once goods are charge for and sent out.
You can pre-order products from the 2010/11 collection. The product will be shipped no later than 9th May 2010. On receipt of purchase Gnomes will advise the customer on delivery date. If goods are not available Gnomes will refund the full amount.
Shipping Fee
Gnomes Snowsports offer free shipping on products above $40.00 anywhere within New Zealand except for snow chains. We currently do not ship outside New Zealand. Shipping fee for products $40.00 and below is $5.00 anywhere in New Zealand.
Express Shipping
Express shipping can be arranged by phone at the cost of the customer. Please call 03 3188433 for more details.
All deliveries require a signature on arrival. Deliveries will be made midweek between 8am – 5pm
Skis and Snowboards
Skis will not be shipped mounted unless Gnomes Snowsports is in possession of the customer’s ski boot for reasons of safety. If you go into one of the Gnomes Snowsports stores they will, however, mount and check your bindings free of charge.
Snowboards will not be shipped with bindings mounted. It is unsafe to do so without the customer's boot being present. Gnomes Snowsports will mount and check your bindings free of charge if you visit one of the stores.
Returns Policy – 7 day money back guarantee
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you are able to send the item back to Gnomes Snowsports within 7 days for exchange or a full refund.
>All products returned must be in their original condition, with all packaging, labels, instruction manuals and warranty booklets present.
>Original receipt and a complete returns form (found on the bottom of packing slip must be supplied with each return.
>Refunds will only be made by the method of payment
>Refund will be of the equal amount you paid for the product
>Snow Chains are non-refundable
>Skis that have been mounted (except system skis, which require no drilling) are non-refundable
>DVD’s are non-refundable
>The delivery fee is non refundable
>Refunds will be made within 48 hours of Gnomes Snowsports receiving the product. Refunds may not show on your statement for a further 72 hours.

A restocking fee will be charged for any products returned that are not in the original condition or have no receipt.

Boot Comfort Guarantee
Gnomes will guarantee that boots and custom insoles purchased from them, will fit and perform. If after skiing/riding, problems occur they will refit the boots at no extra charge. Finally, if the boots are unsuitable after their refitting efforts they will buy the boots back less a usage charge of 30% of the original purchase price.
The following conditions apply:
>No Cash Refunds
>Boots have to be purchased from Gnomes
>No unreasonable wear or tear on the ski boot
>The guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights
>Boots purchased from www.gnomes.co.nz do not comply with the “boot comfort guarantee”
When you purchase your child’s equipment from Gnomes Snowsports and they grow out of it, bring it back and they will give you a credit towards your next purchase, of up to 40% of the original value paid -dependent on condition. No Refunds are given, only credits towards new equipment. Buy back items include skis, bindings and boots.
Gnomes Snowsports meets all laws and guidelines of the New Zealand Privacy act. Gnomes Snowsports will not release any customer information to third parties. Any data stored is used for Gnomes Snowsports business use only.
All credit card transactions are secure and cannot be intercepted by third parties. Once Gnomes Snowsports have completed your transaction, credit card details will be deleted.
Gnomes Snowsports requires a customer’s email address to relay information during the transaction process and delivery procedure.
